Oakridge Manor opened it's 36 bed facility in February of 1998. Oakridge Manor also has another facility in Rockford which opened in 1996. They are owned and operated by JB Senior Investment.

As an assisted living facility, Oakridge Manor is the middle ground between independent living and nursing home care. They allow an individual as much independence as he or she wants or needs, but provide help with meals, personal care, and medications on an as-needed basis. Adult Day Care and Respite Care are also offered at the facility.

Oakridge Manor provides: 24 hour care if personal help is needed, laundry, housekeeping, 3 meals a day and snacks offered in between. Diane Henricks, the director, is very supportive of outside help from Hospice, Home Care and/or private duty if the family is requesting these services.

Oakridge Manor is a warm, home like environment for mature adults who need a helping hand with normal daily activities. They strive to maintain the dignity, privacy, and self esteem of the individual that enriches their lives.
