Many wedding receptions, anniversary parties, class reunions and holiday parties have been hosted at the Amboy Community Center over the past 10 years. This very warm and inviting facility can accommodate up to 250-300. The fully stocked bar area is available with a trained staff of bartenders. A large kitchen is accessible for catered meals. The Amboy Community Center manager, Linda Schrock, offers 15 years of catering experience and thirty years of business experience. Their staff knows how to treat the clients and are as helpful as can be.

Civic organizations as well as business meetings are also held at the Amboy Community Center. The Amboy City Council, the University of IL Cooperative Extension Unit for Lee County, along with the daily senior citizen meal program call the community center `home'.
