Parkway Center

The Parkway Center is a private pay retirement community owned by Richard and Juanita Prescott. The Parkway Center had its certificate of need approved by the State Of Illinois in December of 1986 and residents began moving into the facility in August of 1987.

The Parkway Center is a full-service retirement facility providing sheltered care (residents needing some assistance with activities of daily living) and independent living apartments. Our mission is to attain and maintain the highest practicable, physical, mental and psychological well being for each resident. Resident ages range from 71 to 102.

The Parkway Center provides a safe secure setting that fosters optimal independence and quality of life. We offer buffet style dining, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance services, an enclosed parking garage, beautician services, recreation and social services, religious services, a "Smoke Free" environment. Nurses are on duty 24 hours/day. We also have state of the art fire protection.
