A family business was founded by Jon Fritz in 1970 in Walnut specializing in paving driveways & parking lots. Jon retired in 1999 selling the business to his nephew Shawn VonHolten who moved the operation to Milledgeville where it is closer to Sterling, Rock Falls & Dixon, the heart of the business area.

Fritz Asphalt provides services from trucking & paving to maintenance of residential & commercial driveway needs.

We use local manufacturers of asphalt products & aggregates in the Sauk Valley. Fritz Asphalt also provides a seal coating service for residential and commercial businesses such as distribution centers. Another service is paint striping of parking lots and safety marking inside warehouses of distribution center.
