Back in 1940, (Carr Oil) Zephyr began pumping gas. At that time Budd Carr owned the station and he most likely pumped gas into many of your relatives automobiles. Russ Shuck, present owner, began working for Bud in 1968 and took over ownership of Carr Oil in 1986.

Zephyr (Carr Oil) has been providing Lee County area customers with the only FULL SERVICE gas station and towing service. They have remained locally owned and operated for many years. Zephyr provides minor auto and truck repairs, oil changes, starters, tire repair, alternators, belts, hoses and batteries as well as towing service.

Times sure have changed in 62 years, but Zephyr (Carr Oil) is proud to say that the quality of merchandise and the excellence in service has remained the same.
